The general industrial requirements for the quality of bentonite ores are measured by the content of montmorillonite in the ores:
Boundary grade: ≥ 40%;
Industrial average grade: ≥ 50% o
The content of montmorillonite is generally converted using the amount of blue absorption, namely:
M=B/K’100
In the formula, M - relative content of montmorillonite in bentonite ore,%:
B - Blue absorption amount, mg equivalent/100g sample:
K - Conversion coefficient, 150.
Mining thickness: 1-2m;
Stone removal thickness: ≥ 1m.
